A special limited time tour to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. The tour of Boston's most important Irish historic and cultural sights. The 90 minute trolley tour traces the story of the city's Irish community from immigration, through the struggle for acceptance, to eventual political dominance.  Included are the little known tales about the burning of the Ursuline Convent and the Broad Street riot. Hear about the most colorful characters to step across Boston's Irish stage from John Boyle O'Reilly to James Michael Curley. Learn about Barney McGinniskin, Boston's first Irish policeman and John Hannon who created America's first chocolate company years before Hershey and Mars. Nothing is overlooked from the Boston Public Garden to Fenway Park. Leave with an appreciation of why Boston was often referred to as  "the Greatest Irish City in the World."
